a German POW at Camp Bowie during World II, who was in
charge of the soccer
matches in the prison compound, describes that the
teams played in front of
around 2,000 people and were allowed to enter with the
Badenweiler March and
the Hitler salute. This is a certificate
presented to the 5th company who won the 1st camp
soccer tournament on October 1, 1944. |
