The Family Land Heritage Program honors farms and ranches that
have been in continuous agricultural operation by the same family for 100
years or more. Since the program started in 1974, almost 4,3100 farms
and ranches in 235 counties have been recognized for their contributions
ot Texas and the state's agricultural industry. The Texas Department of
Agriculture (TDA) is seeking other historical farms and ranches in Brown
County to recognize in the Family Land Heritage Program. For requirements
